For his people: I hope your kitty is safe and home soon! Some potentially helpful tips (this is a prefab note so apologies to include things you may have tried/have been mentioned already/may not be feasible): Check everywhere possible indoors. Check neighbor garages, sheds, crawlspaces, etc. Searching at night with a flashlight is helpful (look up trees, etc.) but use sparingly and try to talk in a normal voice as you might scare them off, leave a blanket of theirs outside and if possible and no other animals are around/can be kept safely in another room, leave a window or the front door open while home and able to keep watch (using caution not to attract predators inside). They usually stick close to home but not always. You can also set up a humane trap if you can get your hands on one/have guidance on how to use it and able to keep a close enough eye on it. Be cautious if you have the litter box or food out as it can attract predators and that could deter them from coming home. Post on lost pet pages with your number and neighborhood they were lost in. Check humane society often, in person if possible and file a lost pet report with them.
