I have been feeding this cute little cat for about a month now. He/She seems comfortable in my yard but not so much with me. He/She tolerates my presence while he/she eats, but runs away if I move or get too close. I've been hoping to earn enough trust to bring him/her in, or take him/her somewhere to scan for a chip, but as the weather has been rainy and will eventually turn colder, I'm thinking I will have to have someone come and trap him/her. He/she seems like a solitary cat and I'm not sure where it's been sheltering at night. In the beginning it seemed like he/she was sheltering in my bushes, but he/she now takes off after I feed him/her (hopefully to somewhere safe and dry). But he/she comes regularly for a meals in the morning and when I come home from work, and eats practically every bit of what I give him/her. Is he/she yours?
