Description

Gray / brown male domestic shorthair tabby, stripes & spots, approx. 4-5 years old & 9-10lbs. Microchipped & neutered. Green eyes & is extremely timid. On the back of his neck, he has a rather unique marking that looks like a heart. He is smaller than most cats I've seen in the area. Cash reward for his safe return .

Message from Owner

I’m including a cash reward if anyone finds Phoenix and is able to safely return him to me. Please help me find my boy 😭 west Knoxville piney grove area. Please contact me via phone call at - I can only receive phone calls to this number so please do not text this number. - neutered male - approx 4-5 yo - he is extremely skiddish and will try hiding from humans if it’s not me (so if you find him and can stay with him until I arrive to see if it’s him, I will still reward you after confirming it’s him) - went missing 2/9/24 around 8:25pm - security footage has not given any clues to where he ran off to after he got scared - neighbors have been alerted to keep an eye out

His neck marking is probably the most unique part of him physically. In case anyone thinks they see him, look for a heart shape break in his stripes like this

He’s still missing. We found him on 2/13 under a shed but after having him come to me and trying to get him in his crate, he got scared after we somehow rolled into a trash bag under the shed and took off 😞

Go outside after midnight, when it's quiet outside and call softly, shake the treat bag, listen, and pray! Also take a flashlight and look under porches buildings and in bushes! 🙏🙏

Go out early morning or after dark and quietly call your cat....chances are you cat is scared and hiding....take a flashlight ...if your cat doesn't come to you, shine it around to see if it catches it's eyes...under bushes and in the trees. Put a BIG, COLORFUL sign in YOUR yard so people know where your cat belongs if they spot him or her...Put your worn clothing on the porch…their sense of smell is phenomenal…ask your neighbors to check sheds, crawl spaces and garages. Register the cat as missing with your local shelter-take a picture with you to post if they have a bulletin board-go there every day or 2 to look for yourself…please don't depend on a phone call. The person you speak to may not be aware that your pet might have been turned in.
