Message from Finder

I picked up this cat from a couple last night in this area thinking she was mine. I took her to the vet and turns out she is only about a year old or less. So can't be my cat. I have more pictures. She is very friendly, I don't think she could be feral. Please help me find her actual family!

Are you able to contact the couple that gave you the cat, to see where they found her? You could knock on doors in that area and put up flyers since some folks may not be on social media. If the vet clinic didn't check for a microchip, ask them to do this. Because there are people who claim animals for inhumane purposes or to sell, if someone responds to your posts or flyers, ask for proof of ownership to ensure the cat's safety: - A veterinarian reference that you verify and contact. - Photos of the cat with the owner. - Details about the cat not mentioned in your posts. - The person's full name, address, and contact info. Check ID. If your efforts to find the owner aren’t successful, please don’t give the kitty away to a stranger — seek advice from area cat rescue groups. Thanks for putting in efforts to get the kitty back to her owner.
