Has been a week already since Cider just banished, she has not comeback and it really hurts. She used to come out to welcome us everytime we arrived home from work, school, shopping. She used to hear us parking and jump the fence waiting for us to get out of the car. We are still looking for her but the days pass and the my hopes to see her back are low at this point. I just hope if someone has her is treating her good and she can find her way back home to us 😪

Still looking for her, we have been looking for her leaving her window still open and her bowl of food as we always have but not luck yet. I see the usual cats hanging around but not sight of my Cider also she never got along with the other cats, always kept her distance. Hope she give me the surprise and just show up in her room anytime soon 😪

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

We've been successful in putting clothes and blankets with our scent in outside on porches and sidewalks. Hope your furbaby gets home soon.

Barbara Cruz Page, forgive me for referring to Cider as a little boy. If she is comfortable and confident outdoors, Cider may simply need some extra help getting home. Focusing your efforts within her usual territory, thoroughly search using a flashlight during the day and especially at dusk (when it's dark and quiet) to determine whether she’s ill or injured and hiding nearby, or stuck somewhere. Check every crack and crevice, look in outbuildings, containers, vehicles, under foundations, sheds and porches, into trees, etc. — call and listen carefully for Cider’s cries (she may alert you to her location). And it’s important to ask neighbors to do the same and make sure Cider didn’t hide and became trapped in a shed or garage, etc. Please see this list of step-by-step instructions developed to help others in this situation (click on the link) and let me know if you have questions. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10236753035464835&set=p.10236753035464835&type=3 In addition, this video explains the temperament and behavior of a lost cat — it may instill hope of finding Cider. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2eCoC63B9I Good luck. Please keep us posted on your progress.
