I’m reaching out from Utah to help a close friend search for her missing dog, Smokey—a beloved brown and white doodle mix who may be in the Las Vegas area. I can't go myself door to door because I don't live in town. While I’m not the owner, I’ve always stayed closely involved and informed about Smokey’s care and health. He means a great deal to both of us, and the family, and I’m doing everything I can to help bring him home safely. If there’s any chance you’ve seen or taken in a dog matching his description, we’d be so grateful for any information or leads, and we will give you a reward. Thank you for everything you do.

It’s EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to take the following steps IMMEDIATELY to find your dog(s): 🚩🚩Please go door to door on foot ASAP in your area🚩🚩 🚩🚩 Talk to your neighbors directly across the street or closest to your home, to see if they have any outdoor cameras. If they do, kindly ask if they could review the footage from around the time your dog went missing. This will help you on which direction your dog went or if someone picked up your dog. 🚩🚩If your dog(s) is chipped, please notify the chip company 🚩🚩Please post on local Lost Dog Facebook pages 🚩🚩Please post on nextdoor, ring, create a free pawboost please make sure your phone number is in the Pawboost!! 🚩🚩Check Craigslist “lost and found” and “Pets” sections to see if anyone posted that they found your pet 🚩🚩Check the local shelters daily IN PERSON, especially if your dog is not microchipped. If your dog is not micro chipped, and it ends up at the shelter, you have three days to claim your dog before it gets adopted out. 🚩🚩HANG FLYERS IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD 🚩 ** Not everyone is on social media** 🚩🚩HANG NEON POSTERS ASAP🚩🚩 hand out major intersections near your neighborhood. Bright neon posters (NOT FLYERS) get more attention and are more visible. They are an effective tool in generating sightings to help your lost pet get home. ● No smaller than a half sheet of neon poster board. ● Neon posters with lots of writing are NOT effective !!! KEEP IT SIMPLE This is truly the most effective for generating sightings.
