Jim Kelly that would be true if you didn’t help them…I have saved so many…I go get them from where dumped on my rural about half mile up to culvert where they dump them …cats will stay for weeks thinking owner coming back then to debilitated to get away from coyotes…I go get them and bring them to my little farm….they live good lives….they know they are loved.😊

Over the years people have come by my place in Mi and drop off cats in the Woods. They survived till spring the Foxes get them.

Jim Kelly some do leave if there are problems at home.when I moved from city to county I took about three cats with me because of life changes in their homes. I always tracked down owners if I could to let them know but I also lived in an elderly neighborhood and the kids would come in and put them in facilities and throw cat out the door. I’ve got some stories…I have to look hard to find the humane inhumanity sometimes.

Is he chipped for identification?

A neighbor may have him …I’d check for a couple blocks around or he is shut in a garage or shed.
