Message from Owner

Hi everyone. I think Dexter got out today when I got my couch delivered. Railroad, Snyder Rd. Hes chipped (unregistered. Number34528) and has never been outside. I think he got spooked and ran out the door. I'm devastated please let me know if you see him. He responds well to canned food and churu treats. Im absolutely terrified we have lots of stray cats and I'm afraid he can't handle is own. No collar.

Shared your post. Meanwhile Dexter is likely close by. Indoor cats hole up in the nearest place that feels safe, under or behind things, shrubs, decks, window wells. A humane trap with smelly food (and if possible a camera) could be a big help. Put your unwashed clothes out by your doors. (People will tell you to put out the litterbox - don’t do that, it can attract predators.) Put signs inside plastic sheet protectors on nearby poles. Tell your neighbors to check cameras and keep an eye out. Go out at night and call softly, shaking a recognizable treat bag or toy. Consider a laser toy light or flashlight to draw the cat’s attention. Best wishes.
