Our 4-year-old male cat has gone missing from the Discovery Bay neighborhood, and the hse (and local lizard population) just isn’t the same without him. He’s got bright green eyes, a big personality, and absolutely no concept of personal property, he truly believes he owns the entire neighborhood. He’s very curious and social… on his terms. He might come say hi, but don’t take it personally if he decides you’re not pet-worthy. He’s an elite hunter (in his mind and honestly… kind of in real life too). He’s brought us everything from lizards to gophers like tiny, slightly horrifying gifts of love. The Discovery Bay golf course aka “The Chip Serengeti” is his kingdom, where he spends his days sunbathing and stalking his “prey.” Here’s the strange part: he runs on a tighter schedule than most adults and always comes at night. But since April 24th, he’s gone completely off-script, and we’re really worried. He’s not wearing a collar and isn’t microchipped (we know, we know 😔), so we’re concerned someone may have thought this confident little landlord was a stray and taken him in. If you’ve seen a green-eyed, slightly judgmental cat patrolling like he pays taxes here or if he’s currently crashing at your place like he signed the lease please let us know.
