Apollo is missing. He escaped early Friday morning, around 3:30, and he hasn't been back since. It's not like him to not stay close to home in his old age. He never misses a meal. I have been walking the neighborhood and trespassing in yards without any luck. If my insomnia hadn't had me up, none of this would be happening right now. Apollo had been getting medicine on his nose and was healing, but now I’m afraid with it being so wet outside, he will have reopened it. Late night time hasn’t been allowed because of the recent coyote attacks. He was a stray who should up in our door in 2019 and we spent over a $1000 saving his life. He didn’t like humans. He destroyed the surgical suite trying to get away from the humans. We never thought he would acclimate and so he wasn’t chipped. Well, that was a big mistake. We got complacent with his never leaving home. He is very attached to us and the home. Please keep an eye out and if you hear anything about an ornery black cat missing half an ear, please let me know asap. Our hearts are broken.
