Border Collie blue Merle w/black harness

Message from Owner

Ada was spooked by the fireworks from the soccer game last night and ran off while at a family member’s home near River Club and the greenbelt. She is sweet and stays away from strangers. Hopefully with the harness she will be easier to catch to access the number on her collar. Thank you for helping.

Hoping she didn’t travel this far. Sounds like the Humane Society has the deceased dog now 💔

Check with Garden City Police Dept, non-emergency. GCPD is also Animal Control for Garden City. (State/Veterans is considered Garden City on the south side of State. The north side of State then becomes Gary Lane and is considered Boise.) They will usually hold lost/stray dogs for a day or two and then transfer to the Idaho Humane Society on Dorman Street, Boise if not claimed. Also, file a Lost Pet report with Idaho Humane Society, especially if she is not microchipped. Ask family member whose home she escaped from to post on the Nextdoor app for their neighborhood.
