Thank you for keeping this little one safe. Here are a few tips to help find the owner: - If there’s a Community Facebook page for the area where pup was found, post on there to get the word out quickly to people from that area. - Put up FOUND DOG flyers with his picture and your contact info in the parking lot of businesses near where pup was found. The pup may have escaped from a vehicle while its owner was in the store. - Email a copy of the flyer to the nearest Animal Control in case the owner goes there in search of their sweet pup. - Take him to be scanned for a chip. Any Veterinarian will do it for free, and could help to track down the owner. - Please don’t give this baby away. A little pup like this will definitely have an owner, who is probably sick with worry about their sweet pup. - If someone does come forward claiming to be the owner, please get absolute proof of ownership, as some people will claim to own pets that are not actually theirs, sometimes for nefarious purposes, and innocent pets could end up as Bait in dog fighting rings. Thank you so much for helping this sweet pup. Praying the owner will be found real soon.
