1 1/2 years ago a cat followed my daughter and I home He wouldn’t leave…he had a chip…he had walked a long way to get to us from bayside. His owner said do whatever you want with him We (my mom) kept him and then adopted him a brother Tazzie Lee would probably keep walking until she found her home …just like our cat would’ve probably kept walking to get further away from his owner to find a new home

No he was lonnnng and thin back was all black Saw him again running across the street 43rd ave from the north side to the south side where I was walking …I froze because I didn’t want to spook him back into the street where cars were coming He went safely into the bushes. At lunchtime I bought cat food from the store next to my school and went right across to the bushes but he wasn’t there or in any bushes nearby …I checked. I haven’t seen him since

I just saw a cat matching the picture running north on 41st St. in Sunnyside Queens going towards Sman Avenue. It was about 2:25 PM today Thursday.

I’m desperately trying to find owners Please know this is terribly disturbing to write so I’m very sorry in advance. Deceased cat found on littleneck parkway just south of the grand central parkway on Dec 31 around 11:15 am. Shiny black body white paws (legs). Had recently eaten. Brought him/her to Garden City Park Animal Hospital on Denton Avenue https://maps.app.goo.gl/ejHKPjY85RwBXS339?g_st=ipc S/he has an unregistered chip so they couldn’t contact owner…no phone or address. I have chip number. I know families need closure although this is so painful. It’s heartbreaking. I’m so very sorry. (S/he is being held at vet while we try to bring closure to someone) I checked to see if it’s possible for him to be so far from home. This is an update. BOO WAS STOLEN. We know who took him and they refuse to give him back. How do we get him back? Police?

First put out a big bowl of water. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck!
