😢Surely he didn't get too far! Senior dogs usually travel downhill towards water and can become stuck not making it back up. Please use Google maps to locate all area water sources and check thoroughly. I would think he would take the path of least resistance and be sure to talk to anyone in the area you can find and leave your number for real-time calls if Sighted. Be sure to post to nextdoor too and ring. Even if you don't use the service. Please check the shelter in person. Here's some tips to help him find his way home. Be sure when searching on foot You are intentional whispering your scent around in case he comes across it. You want it to lead him back home.
