Message from Owner

I’m currently watching my dad’s cat, Holly, while he’s in hosp. She got out our back door at 11pm June 2nd. She doesn’t have her collar on and she is microchipped. Unfortunately her microchip is to my mom’s phone number who has since past and we hadn’t updated the information. She is unfamiliar with the area she was lost in as she usually lives in Mills Haven.

Oh thank you very much for such insight information. If you read the post, you would have seen that she WAS an inside/outside cat with my parents. I had no intention of letting her outside but while getting the senior dogs outside, she got out. Please, Janis, keep your unhelpful comments to yourself. Have the day you deserve girl!!!

Someone in my neighbourhood (Brentwood area) believes she saw Holly on Circlewood Cres last night, right around the entrance. She could have headed into the little park there or back out onto the “main drag” of Alder ave/Heron rd.

I totally sympathize BUT she really should not have been outside without either a leash and harness and/or supervision. This is how kitties get lost! I wish people would learn that cats are NOT safe outside on their own! It makes me angry every time I read about a lost one.

Someone might have taken her in that does not have social media and does not know to take to vet. Put up posters in the area - bright on neon poster board.

I would go to that area at night. Really late with a flashlight if you haven’t already. Look and set out some tuna/treats and just sit out there. That’s how I found my cat. Any drones that can help you?
