🚨 URGENT: LOST COCKATIEL FLYING NORTH UP THE 110 FROM REDONDO BEACH BLVD 🚨 💰 $500 CASH REWARD OFFERED FOR HIS SAFE RETURN. My yellow cockatiel, Charlie, flew away at around 3:30 PM today. He was just spotted flying NORTH over the 110 Freeway from the Redondo Beach Blvd area, heading deeper into Gardena Appearance: Yellow with 2 distinct black dots on the back. He is likely getting tired and will look for a tree, roof, or backyard to land in soon. Please help me find him. Thank you.

I'm the owner of Charlie. We miss him so much. 😭 I am a full-time, 24/7 caregiver for my mom who has late-stage dementia/Alzheimer's. Because of this, I physically cannot leave her side to walk the neighborhood and search for my bird. He is my absolute world and my stress reliever between taking care of my mom. I am completely heartbroken. Please, if you live nearby, look up at your trees, roofs, and yards for me. Since I am housebound, I am relying entirely on your eyes and ears to help me bring my baby home. If you spot him, please contact me immediately. Thank you so much.

Posted on Lost and Found birds of the US https://m.facebook.com/groups/637611853061306/permalink/3616754631813665/?mibextid=Nif5oz To Charlie’s owner: We are so sorry to hear your bird is missing. Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
