Message from Owner

Received a call yesterday that she may have been spotted a few days ago in the apmt area. If anyone knows anyone or lives in the poets landing apmts in Dryden, please keep an eye out. We are not local but still searching. Posted flyers around the apmt complex and nearby. Also dropped flyers off at their local post office. I did send an email a few days ago to the Tompkins county SPCA and plan to give them a call today for more advice and possible in person help. We live an hour away. We are the people who originally trapped Autumn from our neighborhood and brought her to Humane CNY in Liverpool where she was adopted by a woman who lives in this apmt area where she escaped... Please help if you can. Any help locally would be immensely appreciated ❤️‍🩹

Here is another photo. She is still missing. I live an hour away from where she went missing. If anyone lives in the poets landing apartments that can aid in rescue efforts please contact the number on the flyer. This picture is from before when she was outside and rescued by me. But she is again outside after being adopted by a resident at the poets landing apartments. Thank you.

Put smelly wet food outside, hav a hart traps work, check them often. At night shine a flashlight you may catch reflection of his eyes. Check shed, garages, under cars, anyplace he could hide or be stuck. Put up flyers, especially at vet offices. Talk to neighbors, ask if they have security cameras that may catch him walking by. They tend to move early morning and evenings. Put out used litter and fav humans worn clothes, familiar smells help bring them in. If possible, leave a patio or garage door open so he can get in. Contact rescues & county shelters, take a pic. Physically check county shelter often, they are busy. She will be very scared & may go into survival mode, she may not respond to you. Some wait until they're starving to come out for food. Keep food/trap out & check often. If you have another cat, try putting them outside in a SECURE carrier. Their meows may call the lost one in. Pray. Don't give up!

My husband and I are actively doing what we can to find Autumn. We were her original rescuers and brought her to Humane CNY. Unfortunately, we were made aware of her being lost a month after it happened. We are an hour away from where she was lost but have hope. If you live in the area or the apartments themselves and have cameras. Please watch for her and contact us as soon as you see her. She is very skittish and would require trapping ❤️‍🩹
