Message from Finder

This dog showed up at my doorstep at 3am. I tried knocking door to door to see if any of my neighbors owned him or knew who his owners could be but there was no luck. I tried taking him to silicone valley Milpitas because that’s the only place open today but they couldn’t take him and he’s also not microchipped.

Aww he’s so cute I wish someone like you found my dog lucky but I believe my next door neighbor that was babysitting him had her chance to give her friend my dog cause she asked me so many times if I would give or sale him to her sadly to say I really no nothing about her friend or wear she lived

For whomever found the pup: Thank you for getting the pup to a vet and scanned for a chip; also check the Pawboost LOST listings. If no success there, please post flyers in the area where the pup was found. Thank you for knocking on doors. Not everyone is on social media. Also consider posting to Nextdoor. Please do not accept offers from individuals who offer to adopt or take a dog to a rescue without personally knowing them. If you cannot locate the dog’s family, please be sure to get the dog to a legitimate animal care facility who will properly care for the dog and either find the dog’s people or find the dog a new home. Please don’t try to place the dog on your own. Sadly, there are many folks out there with less than altruistic motives who will offer to ‘help.’ And please, verify that the person claiming the dog as a member of their family can prove that claim. Thank you for caring for the pup meanwhile.

Poor thing! Please post on Nextdoor also since he's probably from your neighborhood. Thank you for caring!

Where exactly found? Nearest major cross streets? He needs to be registered as found with City of San Jose Animal Care & Services on Monterey near the fairgrounds. Owner will be looking there. Please post to NextDoor Shared All San Jose Lost and Found Animals and Lost and Found Pets of Santa Clara County
