General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. They are afraid of all the new unfamiliar noises they hear outside and are probably hiding. First - Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NOT A CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to her and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen her, and when they last did and which direction she headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if she might be trapped in their garage or shed. Check websites of your local / county animal shelters for their recent acquired cats. They often have a section you can view their photos and details. It may be good to go there in person as well. I hope she is found🙏🏻

You might try a live trap, they are fairly cheap on amazon, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street and wouldnt let anyone near her. I saw she kept coming around the doors at night and if i didnt have other pets, i would have left the door cracked and that may have solved it. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often, check it often no matter what the weather is. In fact, best to keep a camera on it. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope
