The irony of it is that we always had her tags on her collar but the day she went missing we had removed her collar to apply her monthly flea treatment. She left wearing nothing. We're still trying to find her.

No collar. We had removed it to apply her flea treatment. So she is not wearing her tags.

Follow tips . Setup humane trap open at dark close by 10pm, walk around call his/her name. Use flash light for eye shine. Carry open can of tuna. Set out potty next to trap. Do this routine every nite until caught, took two months to catch my cat. Never saw her hiding .

You can purchase a trap from Tractor Supply or Home Depot or see if you can borrow or rent one from a local rescue or TNR group. Put a piece of your clothing with your scent on it inside and some wet food and set the trap and monitor it. I've seen many babies return home this way 🙏❣️

The only way a cat that gets out of the house can find its own way home is with its nose. Cats can smell up to one whole mile away from their own home and usually stay within a five house radius of their house for about a week or so mostly sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. That's a good time to go out and shake the treat bag. Talk to your neighbors and make sure that you put the dirty litter box out immediately! The dirtier the better. Also put out things that smell like you. Your stinky socks your smelly sneakers your dirty pillowcase and pajamas. Anything that stinks of you or your cat as well as putting out their food. If you can try to leave a crack in the garage door for them to get under or leave a window cracked so you can hear them meowing. Typically they're going to be wandering around by your home after dinner time late into the evening or early in the morning. Also put this on nextdoor.com
