Deborah Kaye Smith the shine works on two of my remaining four cats but hoping it would show his. This was such a smart suggestion. Tysm (I cannot always comment on the email link, so I try to sit down and make time to do so when I can.)

Annette Brown we have and did some today. We also did the flashlight and scoured the area, hit the shelter again, checked online, called vets, put out a carrier with dirty laundry outside. Hoping he can get back to us. We love him so much.

My 2 cents worth: Go out at dusk & into the dark, & sit in your yard, calling softly. Make noises like you normally would, not too loud. Get a family member to sit with you & chat. Watch for cat eye shine under the bushes. Cats feel safer under cover of darkness, & may be more likely to walk out to you than in broad daylight. Hope that works for you & beautiful kittamus!
