General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

IN ZARA’S NAME: Search at dusk. Cats are usually found within 5 houses of their own under something, but are afraid to come out during the day. Start with a humane trap you can get from a hardware store. Put it near where they got out. Put up posters with a reward for productive info. Go door to door at least three streets on every side of you. Bring the cat food bag or box and shake it. Check garages and places where your cat may investigate. Look under every car. Have a friend go with you for support. Listen very carefully because he may not come but give faint mews in response. He or she is probably terrified and afraid to make noise. Look IN all your drawers and cabinets.Call all the local veterinarians. Pray. Keep looking . 🚨 Please follow these instructions Do nighttime searches for your cat, with a flashlight and a bag of cat treats,walk the neighborhood where the cat is lost , with the light,look under vehicles,in their wheel wells, under porches and decks,in bushes,up trees,up poles, on fences,at their base on the ground,in between and behind buildings, near garbage bins,shine light on rooftops,on windowsills, on upper level decks,on fire escapes, use the light to expose the eye shine, or reflective glow of the cat's eyes , Calmly call the cat's name,then shake the treat bag, please repeat these actions throughout the block then neighborhood where the cat is lost every night after sunset then again late night to right before dawn 11 pm-4 am Search your property ; look in crawl spaces,in your shed, under,behind wood stacks, under the deck, under the house, under the porch.Post on Nextdoor in Lost and Found Pets group and post on Neighbors app,you don't need a Ring camera to post on Neighbors app .File a Lost report with the local animal shelter,or animal control services, and check the shelter a couple of times a week, bring proof of ownership; Pictures, Vet bills, vaccine records,etc.Ask the neighbors to check their garages, sheds, and basements, sometimes they get trapped in them . Ask neighbors to check their garages sheds and basements, sometimes they get trapped in them . Get their permission to look in their yards, under their porches and decks, under and behind their sheds,look in, under,behind wood stacks,in crawl spaces,on fences,on the bottom,at their base, in bushes,up trees, up poles , on rooftops,use a flashlight to look in these dark and tucked away spaces, even in the day, look for the eye shine,or reflective glow of the cat's eyes.

***POST NEXTDOOR, RING NEIGHBORHOOD, PET FBI, PETCO LOVE LOST, PAWBOOST, PAW GUIDE APP Check ✔️ Humane Society, Animal Shelters In-Person DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Days then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood 2X DAILY, DAY & NIGHT, CHECK BUSHES 1st!!! Check window wells, under decks, sheds, garages, behind AC units, dumpsters, under staircases, under BBQ covers, behind firewood. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on neighbor's doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him/her and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen him/her, and when they last did and which direction he/she headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if he/she might be trapped in their garage or shed. I hope he/she is found soon🙏🏻
