Sandy Stephan i’m glad to hear it. Does he often spend the night outside? It is extremely dangerous for cats outside these days in the hills, due to coyotes.

Please put out food this morning and late afternoon for this kitty - if you live there place outside your front door and get a camera aimed so you can monitor when kitty eats and try to win over kitty's trust so you can get kitty into a secure carrier and get checked for a Microchip FREE at any vet ... place food in a bowl then place bowl in a larger bowl or even plate - and add water to the bowl/plate so that ants don't swarm the food . Wet food only so kitty can smell it and also to prevent raccooons from eating everything - raccoons LOVE dry food but tend to leave wet food alone ..not always but many times
