Kim Mirault oh I get it. We rescued a beagle and, true story, she was taken by an owl or a hawk her first night with us. Long story, but we found her and she was safe. But we did the same thing, when we called the police we used her name they were calling her. I just pray they find her soon! 🙏🏼 🥺

Kim Zsamba Schiavone the dog has two names. They probably changed her name when the just adopted her but they probably should be using her old name since this is the name she knows. She would respond better to a name she knows if somebody probably tried to call her by her name if they get close enough to her. This is my own thoughts which would make sense.

Kim Zsamba Schiavone Actually we are going with Molly. She escaped before we could begin the change. Sorry for the confusion.

Advise owner to get a trapper and a drone . Alert the rescue this dog came from that’s she’s lost . She will not willingly go to people . She’s in survival mode flight mode . Please alert the owner of this info . They need professionals b4 this dog gets injured .

Kim Zsamba Schiavone apparently Molly was the name her foster family gave her. Joy was the name the new owners gave her. So she may respond to Molly vs Joy.

The dog's name is Joy, not Molly.
