Try putting his bedding outside. If you ever get him back, keep him inside or on a leash and get him microchipped.

If you haven’t done so already, please post on Nextdoor for your surrounding neighborhoods. File a lost report at petcolove.org .Put up flyers all around your area and beyond. Check the shelters and Craigslist. Contact the azHARTT.org for help. They are an amazing, experienced group of volunteers that will do everything possible to help you find him. Fill out their online request form and they will contact you. Shared.

Finding Your Lost Cat Quickly 1. Go out with a flashlight and shine it in the bushes to look for eyes. 2. 90% of lost cats are found within 10 houses of their home (ASPCA, 2019). Knock on your neighbors' doors, ask them to check their yard while you wait, and check their Ring cam to track where your kitty went. They get scared and hide and will not come out even if you call them. 3. Coyotes are a significant threat to outdoor cats, they can jump fences and attack quickly. Don't just post and hope your pet is found. 4. Don't listen to people who say to put the litter box outside, as there's no scientific proof that cats can smell their way home, but coyotes can smell cat urine a mile away. Instead, try using catnip oil in your yard, as some owners have reported success with this method. 5. Post flyers on your street and in high traffic areas. a photo of your cat, a description. Post on Nextdoor and Neighbors by Ring every 2-3 hours or 3x a day the first few days.

For Lost cat do immediately Cats do not wander far from home. Try putting some of your dirty clothes outside sometimes a familiar smell helps them find their way home, even their cat bed. Put water out but no food. Cats usually don't go far.. They hunker down in the daytime especially in the heat and come out at night. Put up fliers talk to neighbors check under shrubs, sheds anywhere it is quiet and safe and would make a good hiding place... Check at night with flashlight don't give up💕sharing with prayers. Make sure he isn't locked in a neighbors garage. Dusk and Dawn walk neighborhood shaking a treat bag calling his name. Sending prayers🙏 There is controversy about putting dirty kitty litter box out, some say "Their" smell attracts other animals(coyotes etc) and others say it helps the cat find it's way home. Your call on this. If microchipped check info to make sure current and ask company to flag as Missing/Lost. Don't give up❤️Post on your local NEXTDOOR. Since they don’t go far possibly a neighbor has seen. Put up flyers
