Message from Owner

JiJi is my best friend, he got out of our hse shortly after making a cross country move and is skid-dish. He is a sweet loving boy and I want nothing more than to have him back home. Hes my best friend and I miss him with all my heart. I’d do anything to have him back home.

🔍Searching for him is the fastest way to get him back: 🐾 Sad seeing so many kitties go missing just this week. When a cat goes missing, they can’t easily find their way home using only their scent. Posting is important, but please be proactive and search for him, too. Look under cars, bushes & hedges, look for glowing eyes w/flashlight, call his name at dusk when it’s quiet and they come out from hiding to eat. They don’t go far, 3-4 houses away, they stay in one place until they are scared off by dogs, coyotes, or loud noises. The challenge is finding him before he gets further away. 📣 Please hang flyers near the area he went missing, it’ll let your neighbors know you’re looking for him and get the immediate attention from pedestrians and drivers. You’re the one that can bring him home safely, he’ll recognize your voice, footsteps and your scent. Post on ND, check SDHS Lost & Found daily. If you’re able to find him, PLEASE, please don’t let him out unattended. Cats have the intelligence of a 3yo, they don’t know the dangers they face outdoors from coyotes, dogs, cars, and worst of all evil people who taunt or injure cats. It only takes an hour to train a cat on a leash, then he can be outdoors safely with you. 🐾💙🐾
