Better description, and picture, please… size/weight, approximate age, distinguishing marks or behaviors, breed ( if known) Thank you. Notify Animal Control. File lost report. Check every day or two, in person, at Midlands Humane Society. Unclaimed pets are placed for adoption in 3 days. Place owner’s dirty clothes in yard and garage with water and bed or blanket. Leave door open enough dog can get in. If no garage, place items near house door dog uses. Check often. Search in, under, behind every possible place dog could be hiding, stuck, or hurt. Ask neighbors to open garages and sheds to be sure pup hasn’t been shut inside, as well as their yards. Ask if you can search. Walk area lost with water, favorite food/ treat or try chix nuggets, burger, or hotdog. Call dog’s name in calm, friendly voice as you search.
