Meet Rowan – Rare Czechoslovakian Vlcak About Rowan: We found Rowan in our backyard a few months ago as a stray. After taking him in, waiting three weeks for an owner with no success, and getting him fully treated by a veterinarian for early puppy infections, Rowan is now healthy, thriving, and full of life! During his vet visits, we discovered something truly special: Rowan is a Czechoslovakian Vlcak (Wolfdog)—a rare, intelligent, and highly active breed. Personality & Traits: Age: Young puppy (a few months old) Health: Fully vet-checked, treated, and now in great health! Temperament: Bright, curious, energetic, and eager to learn. We have been actively working on his basic obedience and behavioral training. Ideal Home & Adoptive Family: Due to an upcoming move out of town and the specialized care this unique breed requires, we are looking to rehome Rowan with a responsible, dedicated family. Breed Experience: Prior experience with high-energy, working, or primitive breeds (like Czechoslovakian Vlcaks, Huskies, or Shepherds) is strongly preferred. Active Lifestyle: He needs an owner who can provide plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing social/behavioral training. Resourceful & Prepared: A family equipped to handle the long-term diet, maintenance, and space needs of a large, active wolfdog breed. If you are a knowledgeable dog lover looking for a loyal, striking companion and feel you can provide Rowan with the specialized care he deserves, please reach out to us!
