Black cat, slight build. Skittish but affectionate. Missing her collar and tracker, but is microchipped.

Message from Owner

Katara is our family's first pet. She's been with us since 2017. She went missing after a weekend away and we haven't seen her since. She has never been away from home for this long, and never since the Ft. Steilacoom Park fire of 2023. She's probably hungry, alone, and scared. We pray she's still safe. Please help us find her!

Put out some things that smells like their favorite or familiar people. Do not use a litter box as this may be a beacon to predators as much as the kitty. Don't forget to change out the articles of things so the scent is refreshed. Ask your immediate neighbors and surrounding streets by 5 to 10 miles out to keep an eye out in garages, sheds, crawlspaces, porches, bats, and if possible under any places. Kitties can fit into some very small areas

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
