Rita Hamby yes, that's exactly what I did when my cat snuck out. I found him across from our house under a bush. Good luck to you.

First of all, what you need to do is make sure that you put clothing that has your scent. And their scent on the front door maybe the door he escaped from the back door hang something near clothing. The garage, if you have a garage, you could open a tiny bit and put something that smells like you, and maybe the Kitty and on doorknob, inside the garage, open it up just so a little bit, I maybe put something that he's laid on in there, put some food out, put some sprinkle of some of the vacuum cleaner that you have in your house around the outside of the house. So that it smells like your inside on the outside. Make sure that on dusk and Don you take his favorite treat, where I get a new shaken gently and call his name. While you have a flashlight, and you're checking in the bushes. Cause you'll see their eyes and they're glowing light. You have to do flyers, flyers, flyers, put them on different sites for lost animals. The flyers you can put in people's doors. You can talk to your neighbors, ask them if when evening comes. If it's okay, if you go into their yards to check. Perhaps if he's hiding back there, I had a friend where the cat was hiding under the shed and their backyard, and they couldn't get it until they called a cat trapper. And he was able to get it for them after they were trying to get him for weeks, and he wouldn't come out at least when they saw him put on a camera at night. So you can see if your Kitty comes around your house at night. Cause it might be trying to get in at night because during the day they hide make sure this water, make sure there's food. I remember it has to be boots on the ground. You have to be out there talking to people. You have to be checking, go to the rescues. Talk to the police department. I know it's flyers that you put up, but that there's a rescue amount. But don't put how much, just if there is a reward amount. Because he is an indoor Kitty, I wish you the very, very best these do work. These things work, it's how for many people. Also, there's a lady that uses a drone to find Lost animals. And she's been very successful. I would look into that as well. And see if it's something that's affordable but I know she's helped people. So don't stop every single day, be out there. Cause he can be right under your nose. And just keep looking, god bless you

Try Going out late at night ie midnight and again early am ie 5 or 6 am with their smelly food and treats. Shake treat bag and call out their name. Take a flashlight and check under porches and bushes. Also if you can leave a basement window and garage door open so they can get in. Do for multiple days if needed. Good luck. Kitties don’t usually go far from home

Call this shelter list daily and post fliers as they're surprisingly successful in recovering lost pets. Also post on PetFBI, facebook, Pawboost, Petco lost pets, and call your local police department via the non-emergency number in case someone reported having found your pet. Also put out some of the pet's favorite food, treats, milk, and/or open can of tuna or salmon on the front and back porches as they sniff out fish and milk from afar. Then go to all of your own and neighbors bushes because small pets love to hide behind shrubs that line people's homes. Also look under all decks where they might go when scared and seeking shelter. Finally, good luck, you are both in my prayers.
