Message from Finder

Spotted this dog in CS Unlimited parking lot (intersection of Graves St and Berry Garden Rd.) He would take treats from me but I couldn’t get close enough to get a slip lead over his head. He came right up to my dog too. Appears to be a male, likely intact, poodle or bichon type dog. Red collar with no tags.

If someone wants to go back out and try to catch him, he did come RIGHT up to my female dog and stay close/sniff her very intently. She was recently in heat which may have contributed. I actually got a makeshift slip lead over his head while he was sniffing her but because it was just a leash clipped onto itself it didn’t tighten easily enough and he backed out before I could get it tight. He was posted previously at the beginning of October so I think he’s been out for at least 2 weeks which also lines up with the hair growth from his last photo.

I fed this dog all of my chicken soup today…it is a male, with a red collar and is infested with fleas and its hind quarters look raw. I had a leash in my car but he was extremely skiddish. This was at the swisher center parking lot, Forsyth tech. He ate all my soup and then took off running to the woods.

You needed to get something good to eat. Smells good and sit down and let him come to you. He thinks you’re chasing him if you approach him so you need to let him come to you. I hope the dogs still close by that you can get them and keep them safe.

Cindy Crouse I could not. I spent almost an hour trying to get him on a leash or in a crate and could not quite get close enough. He even took a treat out of my hand but I couldn’t slip a lead over his head without him taking off.
