Help a cat find their way home by: 1. Cut into strips their favorite unwashed blanket or items of clothing with your scent on it like socks, T-shirt or even a towel. 2. Tie the strips around posts, bushes, fencing from your house (several) to a 1 mile radius, placing more strips closer & closer to home to create a trail back home. 3. Leave their toys, food, water, something outside so if they make it back & you’re out, they stay. Often cats lose their way back home as they become disoriented. The premise behind this strategy is to guide them back to their house.
