Awww, he's probably scared and hiding/seeking shelter nearby. Keep checking under nearby porches, decks, shrubs and in garages and sheds. Best times to search and call for him are at dusk and dawn. Keep putting his food, water, and something with his scent on it outside your door to help him find his way back. Starting now and each day in late afternoon/early evening and, put canned tuna/fishy canned cat food outside your door and watch for him. The fishy food is important because they can smell it from farther away and hopefully he will come around from wherever he's hiding. Let your neighbors and mail carrier know that he's missing so they can be on the lookout for him. Post on Sylvania/Toledo Lost and Found Pet page to get the word out. Put flyers up in the area. You may want to try setting a humane trap to catch him. I believe you can borrow one from Humane Ohio on Alexis Road. The fishy food and a humane trap is how I finally got my cat back when he was lost last summer. Sending prayers for sweet George to be safe and home very soon.
