Message from Owner

Luna is a 5 year old sweet indoor cat, social with other cats and good with kids. She’s very friendly but she might be scared and avoidant having been lost outside. We moved to a new neighbourhood and she got out of the hse unnoticed. She has no collar on as she had just gotten a bath. If found, please bring her to your closest vet or shelter. She is microchipped so they can easily contact me. She’s a sweetheart that deserves to come home.

Put out your worn clothing and her bed / blanket - if she is disoriented, the scent will help her find her way home. Go out in the early hours of the morning and shake the treat bag and call her name quietly. Take a flashlight as her eyes will shine. Crack the garage door and/or house window so she can make her way inside if she comes home. Make posters and flyers and get them up and out asap! Call all the vets and shelters in your area (call shelter daily in case someone takes her in). Post on the Nextdoor app as well to get the word out to more people. Hopefully she is microchipped and someone takes her in to be scanned. Good luck, I hope you find her! 😿

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=388310901737884

Check the Brampton Animal Services website- found pets section, in case he’s found and turned in to their shelter. Put up posters all over the neighbourhood. Go out and walk the area at night while calling for him and shaking a bag of treats. They can hear you better at night and usually aren’t too far from home. Good luck!

Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾
