If you haven’t already, posting on Next Door is also very helpful with pets. Also, I’d check with shelter/Humane society in person & often, because they’re so busy & can make mistakes. I’ve heard even with chips. There is also Animal Control. I’ve read good things about South Lyon Murphy Lost Animal Recovery- they have a Facebook page… There are people who help with thermal drones… Could ask neighbors to check Ring cameras etc… I know of someone whose dog was lost for 12 days. They got him back by using a trap. I think they had help. There had been sightings. I’ve heard of a few others recently that caught their dogs using traps- with experienced help. Some people have found their dogs at neighbors’ homes by putting up bright signs. I’ve heard that dogs go into self-protection mode like cats do- meaning they don’t necessarily come when you call. I hope you find Beanie soon ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Please put worn clothing and dirty sheets outside right away with your scent on it and your dogs bedding/blankets with their scent on it so they can smell/find their way home. I’ve heard dogs can smell up to a couple of miles. If you have a gate, leave cracked so they can get in. Please post on For the Love of Louie, next door app, Pawboost and ring app. Please contact animal control and local shelters.
