Message from Finder

Has anyone lost a dog near the Navy base? Hi, I’m Casey, the general manager of Shrimp Basket on Navy Boulevard. I’ve seen this dog several times in the area between our restaurant and the base. He has a collar on, but he’s very skittish and won’t let me get close enough to check it. I’ve been feeding him chopped-up chicken. He looks like someone’s pet, and I’d love to help get him home. If you recognize him or know who he belongs to, please message me. Please share! 🐾

I've gotten pretty close but not close enough to grab them so I still do not know if it's male or female

Calvin Pugh Jr. If you want to come see if the dog's yours, he's back here right now behind the shrimp basket on Navy boulevard.. honestly I couldn't get a good look if it was a boy or girl. His collar is looking a little tight on his neck though

I will double check but I'm pretty sure it was a boy dog. I'm going to try to get better pictures next time I see him

Toshia Kelly-Taylor yes she does. I just saw the gray flea collar and thought maybe? But Dixie also has more white on her paws as well.

Calvin Pugh Jr. Doesn't your dog have a little white on her face? Like the middle of the snout? This one doesn't look like it has any white on it. Also, can't tell if it's for sure a male or if that's a tail in between the legs.

Are you sure he's a male dog? I'm missing a female that looks similar to this one. My phone number is embroidered on the collar. Also has a gray flea collar on as well.
