Message from Owner

💔 I STILL HAVEN’T FOUND MY MIMI. 💔 It’s been so long, and I still haven’t given up hope of finding my girl. 🥺 Every day that goes by without her hurts, and I just want her home where she belongs. Mimi is more than just a cat to me. She’s my baby, and I miss her so much. ❤️ She’s a mostly black cat with a white chest and belly that comes up toward her jaw, and all four of her paws are white. She has a tiny black dot on one of her paws. She’s a very sweet, gentle girl, but she’s also skittish and easily scared, so she might hide or run if someone tries to approach her. Please, if anyone has seen her, thinks they’ve seen her, or has any information at all, please reach out to me. Even if you’re not sure it’s her, I would rather know. If you see her, please try not to chase her, as she may get scared. She may also not have a collar on due to it being a break away collar. Please share this post, even if you’re not in the area. You never know who might see it or know something. 🙏🏻 I just want my baby back home. I miss her more than words can explain, and I’m never going to stop hoping that one day I’ll get to hold her again. 🥺🐾❤️ Please help me bring Mimi home. 💔

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house. Absolutely no litterbox outside or food. It attracts predators is why. Never give up.

I'm so sorry about your kitty. Here are some tips that helped me find my little guy when he got out. My kitty got out in the middle of winter for 11 days. I put flyers out everywhere and some very nice friends of a friend of mine saw my flyers and said he was living under their outside stairs. Flyers work. Also I was told to go out at night when it's quiet and call your kitty calmly. They are scared when outside even if it's your voice they hear so shouting or calling loudly isn't recommended. Also using a flashlight while looking in garages and bushes helps. Cats eyes glow when a light beams on them. Shaking treat bags can help too. Don't do a litterbox that can attract dangerous animals that could hurt Kitty. You can do a piece of dirty laundry of yours that they can be attached too. One more thing also is to get a humane trap from a local shelter and put the smelliest food inside. Believe it or not KFC chicken has helped attract cats more than any food lol. Also cameras can help also to see if your baby comes around when you're not home. I wish you the best of luck and hope. 💜💜💜💜🍀

Call and visit your shelters and pounds. Someone could have picked your baby up. Also they can note that your kitty is missing and if she is turned in they will call you. It also doesn't hurt to call them often just in case.

Ask your local mailman if they've seen your kitty or if they can keep an eye out.
