Chester turned 9 this month. He’s the sweetest cat! We rescued him 9 years ago and he hates to be indoors so always been an outdoor cat. He goes to the vet every year, is in llngjly flea , and is vaccinated every year. He is always around but not for the past 3 days.

Thank you!. I hope I can. Unfortunately he isn't. When we adopted him they never chipped him and for some reason, I never thought of it afterwards which is my fault but I will make calls to Vets and animal control just to see. Thanks!

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

I've run a cat rescue for years and tell you with confidence cats that slip out are always right around the house. Just because you call doesn't mean they respond. They respond when they are ready, not when you are. Do not put food out. It is hunger that encourages them to return home. . . .
