I figured that comment was from ai.. I hate ai but in cases like this it can be helpful since it pulls from a lot of sources at once (can be wrong at times though) But apparently they tend to stay within 1-2 miles during the first few days at least, I was looking at the area and maybe if you haven’t yet, try the more greenery heavy areas in your surrounding area while doing all the things that suggests? I wish I was in that area of kirkland and could join daily. We’re keeping an eye out in Juanita and if we see him and can get him to come to us well secure him and contact you. I hope he’s found safe 🥺

Bumping the post. We’ll be looking out for them, hoping someone finds them and glad they respond to phrases and are friendly with people, hopefully that’ll give them a much better chance at being found and coming to someone

Thank you so much. All of this advice is amazing and has been very helpful especially not knowing what to do or how to even approach the situation. We have been working on this and our own checklist and although it feels like it is not enough. I have had neighbors say they have seen it around and online. Again, thank you so much for your time and energy. It is very much appreciated.

Tamara Riverman Thank you so very much for your prayers. I have been out everyday, all day long, walking and calling out for him in the surrounding neighborhood. Still no sighting. Please keep him in prayer. I deeply appreciate it. Thank you so much for caring.

Posted on Lost and Found birds of the US. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BqA9iHsL1/?mibextid=wwXIfr We are so sorry to hear your bird is missing. Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
