These are helpful tips I copied from someone who posted them on Facebook: IDefinitely post to the local app Next-door & on Paw Boost for better local exposure to neighbors It's normal for them to hide & come out after dark when there's less people, so go walking through the neighborhood after dark with a flashlight. Shake treats or anything that creates a sound your kitty may recognize & try to go out several times throughout the night if possible. Look under cars, by bushes and any other place where he/she can be hiding, calling softly your baby’s name. If u can, leave your garage or a window partially open for your cat to hopefully sneak back in specially during time when it’s dark outside. If u can't leave anything open, the only way for a cat to find its way back home again is by smell. Put out of your front door some of your used clothes, pillow cases with your scent along with his/her bed and a blanket. Go in person to the local shelter to check if your cat is there. I hope you find your kitty soon
