25 MILLION dogs/cats are euthanized around the world every year.. more people than the holocaust. look how few care. In the USA alone we waste around 300 BILLION dollars on lawn "care" ..while it destroys the ecosystem..100s of Millions suffering and dead and most of you care more about green rectangular shapes. Want to help? Read these: Neutering cat and dogs is the single best way to help. Support your local programs. Often systems and people will pay for ALL the food and tools you need to foster! They even often pay for neutering, vaccinations, and flee and worm medications! Temporary fostering should be a really good way to help. 100s of shelters and rescues agree! Some even do it already, often called something like "doggie day care" So many more people would foster if it was only for a day or 2 or 3 maybe a week at most.. for most... to make it work we would need a local and semi local list of temporary fosters, and how long and how often and when they are likely available.. then we can call them on short notice to go pick them up or meet or be ready for a drop off.. that and linking them all to the resource networks so they can get supplies they need donated. Many ai tools can help organize that very well now. Not sure if any free ones can, but id say its a 90% chance a free one will work wonders. That and we need to get the word out about it. they cant sign up if it doesnt exist and or they dont know about it. Also we need to expand the laws against sėlling people for profit... ..and buýing them.. Rescues and shelters are the ONLY ones that should be able to sęll people -> to rescue them.... .. and laws against non medically necessary surgery or body modifications. Anyway, Ultimately the best way to spend cash on these problems is to support neutering programs and get your friends to take their's in.. every dollar spent on that saves 1000s of dollars in just a year or 2.. therefore saving many more lives than endlessly donating on the rescue end ever will😔 ..But Rescues and shelters still need help! obviously ..but the best way to lower the amount of cash they need, is to lower the amount of "un adopted" people they have to help and euthanize😞 Thank you for helping spread the ideas🙏🏻
