He was chipped . Shelter will make contact. I have a dog that does not like small dogs so I could not take care of him for long. Very sweet dog someone is missing their baby.

Shared your post maybe you could take dog to to Petco or that dog store on Perry Hill and Carmichael road intersection I’d call first and see if it has microchip does his collar or halter maybe have a smart tag/air tag? It so you can scan that yourself and it gives the pets information address and phone number and notifies the family right away. I have that for my dog and a microchip since yorkies are notorious for getting out and running f down the street. We were given our second Yorkie that way a year after we found her and returned her to the family. They had two very large dogs and I think Sophie was overwhelmed bc 6months after we found the family we adopted our own Yorkie then we doggy sat for Sophie 6months after that and at the end of the doggy sitting they gave her to us we were so happy bc she and our Yorkie chloe got a long so well and became bff’s id live to find a bff for my cooper now but it’s difficult with all the scammers out there. If you cannot find the family and don’t want it call the humane shelter tomorrow. I’m sure a home will be found right away. I’d love it to be mine. Is it big or small I can’t tell in the picture
