Please check on Petfinder. com, petharbor. com, Petco. com, Craigslist. Please report to shelter. Please post on Nextdoor. com, and make a Pawboost. com post. Have scanned for microchip. Animals cannot be legally rehomed until required stray hold time is satisfied…your local shelter has required hold time information. This required hold time usually begins with reporting to the shelter and pawboost posts. There are skilled and disguised individuals who troll public sites for easy handovers for very nefarious purposes . Please require proof of ownership through photos, and vet records before releasing to anyone except the shelter. Reputable Rescue is first choice. Thank you for keeping this kitty safe!!!

Thank you, kind human, for keeping this sweet cat safe, and if possible, contained 🤗 (So many pets are hit and killed before they're able to be safely returned home. 😔) Someone’s kitty out without “permission”? TALK to neighbors… 🐾Any vet’s office will scan for microchip for free. 🐾Not everyone is looking for their lost pets online, so it’s important to TALK to neighbors in the area. 🐾Check pawboost for LOST pets; and list kitty as FOUND. 🐾Contact shelter with description and location: may be first place family is looking. 🐾Posting "found cat" on a simple cardboard, along with your phone number, posted close can be extremely helpful. Have any caller identify kitty FIRST (though most are, some people are not good and will claim pets for unkind reasons) 🥹💖 And THANK YOU for caring enough to Act and help make our community a safe and caring place for everyone, especially these vulnerable animals, who rely on humans for their care 💗
