🚨🐶 MISSING DOG — PLEASE HELP ME FIND LOUIE! 🐶🚨 My baby Louie is missing! 💔 He is a male Bichon Frise, about 4 years old. He was only half-groomed because his grooming couldn’t be finished — his back and tail are partially cut, but his face is still fluffy. 🔵 Louie is wearing a blue name tag that says “Louie James Noland” with both my phone number and his dad’s phone number on it. 📍 Last seen around Joy Rd & Evergreen in Detroit If you see Louie, PLEASE don’t chase him. Take a picture if you can and contact either number on his tag with his location. 🙏🏽 PLEASE SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE! Someone may have him or have seen him. We just want our baby LOUIE HOME SAFE! 🥺🐾❤️

THINGS TO DO WHEN YOUR DOG GOES MISSING •Get hot, smelly food/water out ASAP. Do you have a Ring doorbell or security camera you can position in front of the food, so you can see if he/she comes to eat it? •Put out some of your dirty laundry, such as a pillowcase or sweaty clothes. •Post on Nextdoor app, neighborhood/subdivision pages, ring app, and ask neighbors to check security camera footage for sightings and to call you. * Post on For the Love of Louie *Michigan Lost Pet Lookers* •Check your entire property for places he/she could be hiding. Go door to door and ask neighbors to do the same. •Let police and animal Control/Shelter know he/she's missing. Go to the shelter in person every day or every other day at a minimum. •Get neon posterboard up on all intersections within two miles. Write with black marker: LOST DOG DO NOT CHASE BREED/COLOR PHONE NUMBER •Get neon colored flyers with same info above and include photo and flood the area with them (homes, businesses). They're critical in getting a lost pet back!! •Do not go to where seen and call out for him/her as that could scare him/her and push him/her out of the area or into danger! You want him/her to settle down and stay in one area so he/she can be trapped, if necessary. Instead take some stinky food and place in a safe place, if you have a camera to put in front the food - to see if he/she comes to eat it. ** If you (THE OWNER) see your dog, do not call out to them dog or make eye contact- Sit on the ground or drop to the ground and play dead. Always have some stinky food with you, to help lure them to you. Do not say anything or make quick moves. Your dog needs to see you, hear you, and smell you - before he/she can process who you are and come to you!!! Once they approach, quietly say a phrase they would be familiar with.

Be sure hang several signs throughout the neighborhood and to post on the next door app and neighbors which is the ring doorbell app. There's a warrendale community page and there are 10 or so other pages for Detroit and Wayne county, I will share them to those pages for you. Stay in touch with animal control in a humane society. You may want to send them pictures and info, both Detroit and Westland locations.
