hi! got home around 11:30am on 09/15 and found this cat in an open field near my home. sometimes turkey vultures are out there (plus other cats) and it's mostly surrounded by road (minus one side). he's extremely friendly and even let me pick him up to bring him to my backyard where it's fairly covered. i gave him food and water (which he happily ate and drank some of) upon finding him. really seems like he couldn't have been out here for more than a week or two as he has no fight marks or anything but may have gotten an infection as almost all his toes are swollen (he is also lifting his left hind leg as he walks a lot). i would absolutely love to hse him until we find his owner but i have a cat who doesn't seem to like him much :(
