Hudie's Owner Says

Thanks everyone! He finally came home with his breakaway collar missing. I think he was only gone so long because he got caught on something.

LOST OUTDOOR Kitty with outdoor experience? It should know its way home. But since it hasn't come home as usual, experts say it could be trapped/injured somewhere and needs you to search its territory (can be up to a 1,000 foot radius around its home) - in/under sheds and decks, neighbors' garages, barns, up trees and roofs, in drains, roadside and every nook that it could seek refuge. Is there a territorial cat or dog keeping it away? At night, use a flashlight in dark areas to get a reflection from its eyes. For neighbors not on social media, knock on their doors and ask to search their property if possible. Ask if anyone feeds cats outside as kitty might be there. Hand out and post laminated, readable LOST fliers with pic and phone # on STOP signs in its territory to get important sightings. Shake its food container and calmly call it to come eat. Stop/listen for meows. Check local animal control. In Cobb County, check CC Animal Services intake search engine - https://www.cobbcounty.gov/animal-services/lost-found-pets. Report to and visit them 770-499-4136. For expert, free advice/support on recovery - LostCatsGeorgia.com and register (even if not in GA).
