Message from Owner
Our beloved Lovey, a fixed feral we've been in love with for 6 years, has gone missing. We were in the process of making her indoor only. I last saw her Wednesday, 7/29, at 6:30 pm when I gave her belly rubs and nuzzles on our deck before going to a neighbor's for dinner. When she wasn't at breakfast Thursday morning, my gut caught. I have posted on NextDoor and 24PetConnect, notified neighbors, queried the fix our ferals people, looked under buildings and decks and called for her. She was always around, never went missing. I figure she had an event with another animal or a car. I have not given up hope but I fear she is really hurting and hiding out or she met with a coyote. I have searched the internet for reassurance and hope. She is tough and I hope she is strong enough to come back. The irony of how close we are to making her an indoor-only cat tries to take root but I push it off. I am distracted and sad. Trying to focus on all the love which continues regardless. Thank you.
