Message from Finder

This dog was seen behind the Pizza Hut in Allandale in Kingsport, TN around 4:00pm on Saturday, September 5th, 2026. It did have on a collar. We didn’t get close enough to determine if it’s a boy or a girl. Because it was near a busy road, we didn’t want to spook it by trying to get it. We know there are hses and apmts behind the Pizza Hut so we hope its home is back there and it will find its way home!

My husband spotted this dog, and I wanted to provide a little bit more information. 1. This dog was spotted beside a running truck and had a collar on. It is possible that this dog was owned by the person in the truck (which is one of the reasons that my husband didn't get out to try to check for ID or anything). 2. People have reported on my other post that they went out as quickly as an hour later, and it was no longer there. 3. An employee from that Pizza Hut said that they've never seen that dog and haven't seen it since. So, given all of this information, it's possible this dog was just hanging out beside its owner's vehicle or lived nearby and has already made it home.. This is what I'm hoping. I'm not going to mark this dog as reunited because none of this has been confirmed. But, I wanted to make sure to provide a little bit of an update.
