So we secured all our other cats in different rooms and left the front door open ( it was the one she escaped from). When it started getting dark and quiet out she came right back in the door. I had heard of others being successful doing this and thought it was worth a try, and luckily it worked!!

Darling cat. Is he neutered? Post him on Greenhill lost and found web site and Next Door site. Leave his bedding outside or piece of your clothing so scent can get him back. When he returns, you'll need to keep him inside new house for week to get used to new smells and sounds. Best wishes.
