Our kids unexpectedly left our backyard gate open last night, and when we let our dogs out, we didn’t realize it. Both David and Penelope got out. Thankfully, we found Penelope last night, but David is still missing. Penelope hasn’t stopped crying since, and our kids are heartbroken—they miss David so much they didn’t even want to go to school this morning.
